Emotional First Aid Support Group: Norfolk | Norfolk Public Library: Larchmont Branch | dinsdag, 10. december 2019

Humans are hard-wired for connection, but connection is hard! Every day, we experience emotional micro-injuries (road rage! lovers' quarrels! unsolicited parenting advice!) that create barriers to living our best lives due to a compromised immune system, elevated cortisol levels, and reduced resilience.
Join us for a peer-facilitated conversation in a supportive environment that covers thorny inter-personal relationship topics YOU bring to the table! Vulnerability is encouraged and celebrated as we share in one another's trials and triumphs. Share only what you wish, and learn from others who once were or still are in the same place as you.
Topics we often cover include:

Intimate partner emotional abuse
Family of origin conflict
Co-worker conflict / inappropriate office encounters
Parenting struggles
Guilt, shame, and fear

Support Group is always free, and always open to everyone. Registration is not required, but helps us know how many chairs to have ready.  You don't need to bring a thing. Just grab and friend and join us!
