EXHIBITION "TRANSFERS" | Two Spoons | donderdag, 06. december 2018

Laura Hepworth’s exhibition ‘Transfers’ will be open from Monday 26th November 2018 until the end of January 2019.There is a range of exciting events to choose from such as, the Preview Night, Artist Talks, Arts & Crafts Workshops. And a collaboration with Shannon Reed, also known as, Mockingbird Makes. During which, Laura and Shannon will be telling their stories, in discussion of the topic of the night: Creative Innovation vs Mental Health.Come down and join us for Laura’s first event; the Preview Evening of ‘Transfers’ on Thursday 6th December from 6pm till late. Where Laura will be giving a public introduction to her practice. 
All work will be available to buy on the premises throughout the duration of the exhibition. And 10% from each sale will be donated to Place2Be Charity. 

Preview Evening of ‘Transfers’- Artist Talk: Introduction to Laura Hepworth. Thursday 6th December 2018 at 6pm till late.
Christmas at Two Spoons- Arts & Craft Workshop. Sunday 30th December 2018, at 2:30pm- 6:30pm.
Creative Innovation vs. Mental Health-  Artist talk in conversation with Shannon Reed Of Mockingbird Makes.  Saturday 12th January 2019 at 7pm till late. Proceeds from sales will go towards Place2Be children’s charity for Mental Health. 


Laura Hepworth is a Conceptual Artist based in East Dulwich, South East London. Laura’s work explores process through themes of creativity and connection. Utilising drawings, painting, printmaking, large scale sculpture and installation, as a means to transform the familiarity of the everyday into what is perceived as uncanny. hepworthconceptual@gmail.com

Shannon Reed of Mockingbird Makes mindfully makes beautiful bespoke hand knitted, crocheted or embroidered handcrafts.
Based in East Dulwich, South East London she also teaches private lessons and group workshops in crochet, knitting and pompom making and speaks at events on Creativity For Wellness, all in a bid to recapture the creativity we so often outsource to the detriment of our mental health.

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Honor Oak Park Station is literally 2 mins walk from the venue. It is served by the overground and regular trains. Parking is available outside and in the surrounding streets. Buses coming to the area are 122, 171, 172, P4, P12. Nightbus N171
is there a minimum age requirements?
18 years old from 6.30pm
