This 1-day Recruitment and Selection workshop will provide you with:



an understanding of the council’s recruitment guidlines and best practice


clarity about why we recruit the way we do, the role of the recruitment panel and who else supports the process


an opportunity to practise and gain confidence in key recruitment skills including; writing a compelling job advert, identifying the best selection tools for the role, shortlisting for success, interview question design and making evidence based recruitment decisions


greater confidence in your ability to successfully attract, recruit and promote the best person for the job


eligibility to lead a recruitment process and/or chair a recruitment panel
